Central to HeartWorks’ team of teams structure is a patient-first culture of product development. CHD families direct our purpose, mission, and a palpable urgency that we feel in our daily work.
Families are the heart of HeartWorks. Whether by enrolling in our trials, hosting or attending events, or supporting us through donations, your involvement makes everything we do possible. Thank you for trusting us and standing alongside us every step of the way.
We promise to keep you at the center of all our decisions and activities, both inside and outside of the lab, until we achieve our ultimate goal: curing congenital heart disease.
At HeartWorks, our team is dedicated to developing groundbreaking therapies that harness a person’s own cells to strengthen their existing heart muscle or even generate new, beating heart tissue. All of our research and laboratory work is proudly conducted in Rochester, MN, and Eau Claire, WI, where a lab technician has been working tirelessly for over 5,000 consecutive days (cells don’t sleep!) to advance this mission.
Our work is focused on four key areas critical to improving outcomes for those living with congenital heart disease:
At HeartWorks, we believe that curing CHD starts with community. Beyond our research, we are dedicated to creating meaningful experiences for heart families through impactful events and strong partnerships. We host impactful events, from the world’s largest virtual dinner with over 1,400 live attendees to dozens of smaller, heartfelt gatherings that bring heart families together.
We also pride ourselves on partnering with family initiatives and organizations, offering a platform for their efforts to thrive. Through graphic design services, fundraising tools, event swag, and valuable connections, we help motivated families amplify their voices and turn their ideas into action. What sets HeartWorks apart is our commitment to making every person impacted by CHD feel seen, supported, and empowered – both inside and outside the lab.
