“Cora was born in September 2020 with double inlet left ventricle, transposed great arteries, and coarctation of the aorta. She underwent the Norwood procedure when she was 4 days old. After surgery, her recovery was complicated by seizures, a paralyzed diaphragm, and a paralyzed vocal cord. She required a G-tube for feeding and spent 6 weeks in the hospital before coming home. In February 2021, Cora had the Glenn procedure. She developed chylothorax and was in the hospital for 6 weeks after her surgery. Most recently, she underwent the Fontan procedure in July 2024. She experienced chylothorax again, but it resolved quickly, and she was able to go home on a low-fat diet.”
