From HeartWorks:

We’re incredibly grateful for our ongoing partnership with Camp Odayin, an organization whose heart-centered mission truly aligns with HeartWorks. Their unwavering commitment to building safe, joyful, and empowering experiences for young people with heart disease and their families is nothing short of inspiring. By creating an environment where “kids play, worries rest, and fun happens,” Camp Odayin not only nurtures the well-being of its campers but also builds a stronger, more connected community rooted in compassion and care.

We’re honored that Camp Odayin is helping to spread the word about the Co-op at HeartWorks and co-host an event this winter with us. We are also excited to help them fill their vital volunteer spots. Volunteering with Camp Odayin is a unique and meaningful way to make a lasting impact, whether as a nurse, counselor, or support staff at one of their camps throughout the year. We encourage our community to join this incredible cause and experience the joy of supporting kids who truly deserve every opportunity to grow, play, and thrive.

Thank you, Camp Odayin, for the incredible work you do.

From Camp Odayin:

At Camp Odayin, our mission is to provide fun, safe and life changing experiences to build community for young people with heart disease and their families. We strive to improve the quality of life, mental health, and overall well-being of children with heart disease and their families. We provide a fun and adventurous environment, while giving parents and children peace of mind knowing medical precautions are in place. Campers are engaged in empowering activities that improve their self-concept, self-confidence, independence, and social skills. Kids play. Worries rest. Fun happens.

We value…
• Celebrating Life – We play with purpose, create fun, and share hope.
• Commitment to Community – We remove barriers and build connections, knowing we are stronger together.
• Emotional Safety – We create an environment that honors mutual respect, trust, and acceptance.
• Personal Growth – We try new things to build confidence and encourage gratitude.

JOIN THE FUN AS A VOLUNTEER! Camp volunteers create memories and friendships with amazing campers and volunteers! They experience the joy of providing kids with heart disease a sense of belonging and receive training, personal growth, and experience mentoring youth. Throughout the year, exceptional volunteers support and guide our campers as volunteer nurses, cabin counselors, and cardiologists at camp. We welcome volunteers at Winter Camp in February, Summer Camp in the summer, and Family Camp in October and November. Please contact Alison at alison@campodayin.org or 651-351-9185 with any questions.
