Families Fueling the Path to a Cure for CHD

collage of heart families who support HeartWorks

Families are the foundation of HeartWorks and our fundamental motivation. They inspire us to work tirelessly, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. We recognize how crucial it is to connect with them, understand their stories, and do everything we can to offer hope for the future. We strive to exceed the current standards of care available.

At HeartWorks, families affected by congenital heart disease (CHD) are not just part of our mission, they are the driving force behind it. Since our inception, heart families have passionately raised nearly $2 million for our research and clinical trials, demonstrating the incredible power of determination, collaboration, and love. Their dedication is truly inspiring. Remarkable champions like Marc and Nate Stoll ($391,844), Beats for Bella ($336,523), Full of Hope ($132,137), Montana Brave Hearts ($101,482), Charlie’s Champs ($79,159.89), and Kelly DiMaggio ($57,941) have transformed their personal experiences into impactful movements. Through various events – from softball tournaments and lemonade stands to biking events and school presentations -they are raising funds, increasing awareness, and cultivating a hopeful future for every child, teen, and adult living with CHD.

Families place their trust in HeartWorks, and we are steadfast in our commitment to join them in the fight for a cure for congenital heart disease.

CHD Families: Join Our Team of Teams

At HeartWorks, Team of Teams isn’t just a phrase, it’s our reality. Scientists, clinicians, donors, and families all work together to change the future for the 1 in 100 babies born with congenital heart disease (CHD).

We partner with heart families and foundations to raise awareness, share knowledge, and create brighter futures. Through your stories, voices, and support, we’re rewriting the playbook for CHD care and education.

HeartWorks World Headquarters  |   A New Home Driving Hope for CHD Families

We’re thrilled to share an exciting milestone: the new HeartWorks World Headquarters in Eau Claire, WI! This state-of-the-art research and manufacturing facility is the heart of our mission, bringing all our teams under one roof to accelerate our life-changing work for congenital heart disease (CHD) families.

The new headquarters will dramatically increase our clinical manufacturing capacity, allowing us to produce up to 100 induced pluripotent stem cell lines per year – a significant leap from our previous capacity of 12. This expansion is critical, as it means more clinical trials, new personalized treatments, and, most importantly, more hope for those affected by CHD.
